      This time, to say the least, is an odd piece. It's not certain which of your many talents this exercise will enhance, but it's fun to learn then ask drummers to come up with a beat for it. Usually when they just hear the bass they're not quick to realize the "time loss," and they try to lay down a funky four. On the other hand, if you're starting a band that specializes in odd time signatures and the drummer hears this bass part and says, "That's a cool 19," you've found you're drummer.
